5. ¿Te parece inútil la implementación de la norma? Piénsalo bien, Christine Lagarde, directora del Fondo Monetario Internacional, comunicó que cada año en el mundo se gastan más de 1,5 billones de dólares, o sea, el 2% del PIB mundial, en sobornos.
6. La implementación ayuda a cumplir con las leyes, reglamentos y demás regulaciones que luchan contra esa forma de corrupción.
7. Como la práctica de sobornar está muy extendida, muchos inversionistas y empresarios quieren hacer negocios con empresas “seguras”, es decir, que no se vean envueltas en escándalos ni asuntos turbios. La implementación constituye una garantía, por eso se prevé que cada vez más se certifiquen empresas bajo esta norma. No podemos quedarnos atrás, debemos estar a la par de los mejores.
8. Trabajar bajo un enfoque ético y transparente pone de manifiesto el compromiso de la alta gerencia y de colaboradores, quienes podrán abordar los temas antisobornos para unificar criterios y establecer posturas bien definidas.
